2026-01-14 - DTA and Cool Springs Meet

Context:
Downtown Alliance, Cool Springs, Safety Ambassadors, and Downtown merchants met to collaborate, deconflict and to plan. NCMUSE opened and owners Issac and Pinghui, have created online services (ncfayetteville.com) based on merchant discussions and identified problems. These services are currently not affiliated with any organization beyond ALFAREN LLC the parent to MUSE & CO. Issac is seeking a coalition of the willing to provide value to merchants and as importantly to locals in Fayetteville.

Discussed:

  1. https://ncfayetteville.com website for providing customers with a single data stream building on top of all the official calendars and providing an itinerary planner which is focused on downtown .

  2. Lunar New Year was discussed

    1. ATofNC, K-Pop, and Muse & Co will be leading lunar new year activities regardless of others BUT encourage and welcome others to participate

      1. 15 Feb (saturday) will be a weekend opportunity to be aware that an asian demographic will be in the area and based on their cultural methods of celebrating lunar new year there may be opportunities to appear relevant to them.

      2. 17 feb (tuesday) will be a public showing for Kpop Demon Hunter, an extremely popular asian (korean) movie which is predicted to go well with the asian american local population of Fayetteville.

  3. Ways to demonstrate the safety of downtown Fayetteville were discussed

    1. Proposition to provide quick facts and figures in line with the correct and honest narrative that Fayetteville is not only the most walkable part of Fayetteville but also one of the safer parts compared to other high traffic areas.     2. Quick facts are needed still to provide a unified narrative to those in downtown. Waiting for the city to provide this may not be the breast option and MUSE will move forward with obtaining this publicly available information and incorporating it with merchants who find it valuable

  4. Group chat of merchants discussed and initiated. https://discord.gg/gnq73U54jK is the chat which will hold customer, merchant, and other participants. Unlike other fayetteville chats or communities there where be a much more relaxed and empowering direction and will allow for non spam advertising and posting directly to locals.

      1. This is a very large and well attended event and typically it is an event which people may plan out activities during the day before they go to the main event. This could be an opportunity to plan out the event for these people and understand they have a set time when they will be headed up to the event on fort bragg.

    3. Obtaining safety and crime data from Cool Spring and the city of fayetteville to better inform merchants and local population on the safety of downtown Fayetteville
